That happend to me in Retail. Get your foot in the door and prove yourself I mean learn all that you can and try to see if you can be a manager on dutie when they are there so they can see that you can do it Good luck a LITTLE white lie may never hurt.
Lying on your application will more than likely come back to haunt you. And what about your own integrity? Would you want to work for a manager who is a liar? Experience accounts for something. You can't just start at the top. Get a job in a restaurant and EARN the manager's position. It usually goes through stages, assistant manager first, and when you prove yourself there, then on to management training.
