What job offers a high paying pension?or at least a pension that you can depend on at your latter years?

is there a job in IT,that will pay for that?i am planning to get an IT course this next sem..or is there any other course you can suggest to me?i just wanted to have a stable job.you know, a job that i really can depend on even if i am old.

Get in a time machine and go back to 1950 and work for a large company.

Fewer companies have pensions every year. Long time employment with the same company is not to be expected in the future.

Better to think about saving and investing money on your own. Look for tax free accounts 401 K Roth and there are others.

The government is about the only one left. No company can logically afford to pay more people to not work, than to work. and that is exactly what a pension programs does.
