What is the job called of someone who does the layouts of magazines?

I'm interested in doing this job and was wondering what it is called. Also what training and skills do you need for it?

Production Artist or Graphic Designer. Art Directors oversee and manage the overall process of the magazine's production but do not always work with the actual files. Some do, however.

Art Director or Layout Editor.

Graphic designer, sometimes. Go to a technical school to learn how to do it, like ITT or something.
