. You've got a 2-yr degree? That would get you in the door.
An Electrical Engineer is better.
It should lead to a good career. There are a lot of electrical gadgets out there that need fixing.
Read the 'gov' site:
"...Overall employment of engineering technicians is expected to grow 7 percent between 2006 and 2016, about as fast as the average for all occupations. " ...
... that means it's a steady job.
