How long do you have to work at a job to receive unemployment benefits?

After a little over a year working at a job, I was laid off. I received unemployment for the maximum number of weeks before I found a new job. I currently work at a construction company, and with the winter months coming up, I am going to get laid off for about 3 months or so. I have been at this job for 8 months now. Am I eligible to receive unemployment still even though I was on unemployment 8 months ago? Have I worked long enough at my current job to be eligible?

it dependes where u live, in my city u have to be employed at least 6 months to qualify.

The time on your current job is irrelevant. Your benefits are based on earning for the one year period ended two quarters ago.
