So please, if you have had similar problems, tell me how you solved them. Details about good search engines would be helpful too. Thanks!
Try contacting companies directly and telling them your goals and your plans to relocate. Most companies will help you relocate and pay some accomadations like the first few months rent and moving costs. Especially if you are right out of university!! You are a very desirable candidate.
When I finished university I applied for jobs directly to the HR department and they flew me down for the interview, hired me, then gave me a 15,000$ signng bonus to help buy a house there and a 3 month tax free living allowance. They wanted me bad casue I was a new buisness graduate and companies will hire you in a heart beat.
Good Luck!!
When it time to meet with the new Job that want to hirer you you need to tell them the facts that you need to start in 2 months . The most they will say is that they need some one now and sorry for comming. But if they like you and your skills they will work with you. Most benefits that jobs have state after a year or if they have a better plain it might start sooner. I hope your move and Job hunt is doing well.
im not sure if this will help, but try temp agentcies... they maybe be able to get you a job at least for the first 6 months or so, and then you can look for permenent work :)
good luck :)
As an employer, I wouldn't want to hire someone who can't start immediately, because the job needs are now. Only with state governments might there be a longer period before hiring, because they have so many steps that must be followed. First, they advertise the job. Then, weeks later they stop advertising and start looking at the applicants.
Then they have a review team select the ones they want to interview. Then they interview those persons. Then, the top 2 or 3 are re-interviewed or passed on to the supervisor for final selection. Then, that person usually has to give a 2 or 3 weeks notice to their current employer.
If you're really good, some of the state and federal prisons may let you take longer to start, because they always have openings and are likely happy to have a warm body interested in the work.
Let employers know when you will be avail and in town to meet them and that you wish to keep in touch or talk on the phone with them..
